The best ways to make your protein?
The flavours we use within the blends need activating for best results. There are certain dos and don’ts we recommend when mixing raw sport.
We don’t recommend mixing the protein with water to get the best taste result. It is the fastest and most convenient way to use the product, but water doesn’t bring out the flavours to there best potential. If you are going to use water, for best results use cold water or add ice cubes.
How to make your Protein Powders ...
Consistency of protein is down to you and how you like it.... we recognise everyone is different in both taste and texture. Here are some easy ways to play around with your protein powders.
If you are looking for a fast convenient shake, mix one scoop with 300ml of almond, coconut or oat milk. The sweetness of the nut milks really activates the flavours and enhances the taste. Again temperature is key, ensure the milk is cold. Adding 2-3 crushed ice cubes really improves the taste of our protein powders
If you have a little more time, the protein can be versatile and mixed with cereal, protein balls, pancakes, and flapjacks.
One of the most popular ways our protein powders are used is within smoothies. It is an excellent way to get added extra nutrition into your daily smoothie. The protein and fibres within raw sport help to make the other nutrients within the smoothie slow releasing, helping digestion and creating a feeling of fullness for longer. If you want a fast shake and prefer a thicker consistency, blend with bananas, avocado, berries or oats.
